Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our growing team. You will be happy running a section, maintaining high standards, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Experience in a similar level role and a passion for fresh, high-quality food are essential. You must have the right to work in the UK and be a great team player who can train juniors and uphold food safety and licensing rules.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position and show leadership aptitude.
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food will be an advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Set an example and guide junior chefs.
• Complete all training in a timely manner.
• Comply with statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and ensure others follow them.
• Follow Food safety laws and requirements.
• Maintain a positive, approachable manner and strong teamwork.

Chef de Partie Requirements:

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.

• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
