Job summary

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is seeking a Banqueting Senior Chef de Partie to deliver outstanding dishes for our banqueting and events service. You will ensure your section runs smoothly and to Nobu’s high standards, while contributing to creativity, precision and excellence in a fast‑paced kitchen.

You will lead by example, supervise junior chefs, maintain hygiene and efficiency, and help shape the menu with fresh ideas.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Banqueting Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or premium restaurant.
• Strong technical skills and a passion for delivering outstanding cuisine.
• Organised, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the banqueting team in creating a highly regarded kitchen that reflects Nobu standards and expectations
• Manage and oversee the smooth running of your section
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen with stock checks, labelling, audits and equipment care, always adhering to health and safety requirements
• Ensure you and junior team members have a full understanding of the menu offering
• Prepare dishes with precision and consistency, ensuring flawless quality and presentation
• Contribute innovative ideas for new dishes or specials that enhance the menu
• Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to work every day
• Act as an ambassador for Nobu, embodying our values and commitment to excellence and teamwork
