Thwaites is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen, creating high quality dishes with fresh ingredients and a touch of creativity under the guidance of our Head Chef. You will take ownership of a kitchen section, maintain high hygiene standards, follow recipes while adding flair, and contribute to a warm, hospitable guest experience.

Training and progression opportunities are available through our academies.

Qualifications

• This role requires previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar high-volume kitchen role.
• Ability to follow recipes with a creative flair and use fresh produce.
• Strong team player with commitment to high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality food from scratch with fresh ingredients.
• Manage a kitchen section and coordinate with the team.
• Maintain highest levels of hygiene and safety at all times.
• Organise work areas and machinery, and control stock and storage.
• Support other team members and work collaboratively.

Your day to day a Senior Chef de Partie

• Use your eye for quality and creative flair to produce high quality food from scratch
• As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will manage a section within the kitchen, cooking with fresh ingredients
• Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times
• Maintain areas of work and machinery
• Control the order and storage of food supplies
