Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is supporting a leading national property and building consultancy in appointing a Chartered or Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join its Manchester team. The role covers projects, dilapidations, and potential cladding remediation within commercial real estate.

The successful candidate will work across professional surveying and project-led work, including refurbishments and fit-outs for industrial, office and retail sectors, with client-facing responsibilities

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or equivalent required.
• Chartered or Senior Chartered Building Surveyor with strong commercial real estate experience.
• Experience delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a varied portfolio of Building Surveying instructions across commercial real estate.
• Manage refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion.
• Undertake contract administration, project monitoring and technical due diligence where required.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, reports and tender documentation.
• Manage Dilapidations instructions for landlord and tenant clients.
• Undertake building surveys and provide technical advice to clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Support business development and growth of the Manchester team.
• Mentor junior surveyors and support team development.
