Job summary

Complete Security Recruitment is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a growing consultancy. The role involves delivering surveys, condition assessments and dilapidations, and managing projects from instruction to completion across multiple cities in the UK.

The successful candidate will carry out detailed surveys, compile reports, advise on defects and remediation, and manage budgets and programmes while developing long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Chartered Building Surveyor with experience in consultancy.
• Strong building surveying services experience.
• Proven ability to carry out surveys and condition assessments.
• Knowledge of building defects, construction methods and remediation.
• Experience with project management and contract administration.
• Excellent report writing and client-facing communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed building surveys and inspections.
• Prepare condition reports and schedules of condition.
• Provide advice on defects, maintenance and repair.
• Prepare specifications and schedules of work.
• Manage building projects, budgets and programmes.
• Maintain regular client contact and develop relationships.
