Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join its expanding Manchester team. The role focuses on dilapidations work for industrial, warehouse, and logistics properties, with autonomy and a clear path for career progression.

You will deliver high-quality surveys and advice for landlords and tenants, supporting refurbishment projects and providing practical, commercially-focused recommendations.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification and experience in dilapidations for industrial assets.
• Experience acting for landlords and tenants.
• Strong report writing and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide dilapidations instructions and negotiations for landlords and tenants.
• Produce terminal and interim schedules of dilapidations.
• Advise on lease liabilities and exit strategies.
• Carry out pre-acquisition and technical due diligence surveys.
• Prepare schedules of condition and defect reporting.
• Support refurbishment and industrial asset improvement projects.
• Build long-term relationships with landlords, asset managers, investors and occupiers.
