An exciting opportunity at NHS Golden Jubilee for a Senior Charge Nurse/Senior Charge ODP in Anaesthetics. You will lead the anaesthetics team, ensuring high-quality patient care in a busy perioperative department. This role emphasizes leadership, quality care, and staff development, contributing to the hospital's strategic vision for excellence in service delivery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the senior nursing team as SCN/SCODP Anaesthetics within the Perioperative Department at the Golden Jubilee Hospital.
Our perioperative department consists of 20 theatres, providing surgery for Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Thoracic, and General/Colorectal patients. As SCN/SCODP, you will be responsible for the daily management of anaesthetics within the perioperative department to ensure patients receive high-quality, safe, effective, and person-centered care.
You should demonstrate strong, effective leadership, especially through change, while embodying our values of kindness and compassion. A commitment to quality, evidence-based care, and a can-do attitude are essential.
You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate learning opportunities for both registered and non-registered staff and preparing staff for future roles within NHS Scotland.
You will play a key role in delivering the hospital's strategic vision and plan, aiming for excellence in service delivery for the people of Scotland.
