Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the senior nursing team as SCN/SCODP Anaesthetics within the Perioperative Department at the Golden Jubilee Hospital.

About the Role

Our perioperative department comprises 20 theatres, providing surgery for Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Thoracic, and General/Colorectal patients. As SCN/SCODP, you will be responsible for the daily management of anaesthetics within the perioperative department to ensure patients receive high standards of safe, effective, and person-centred care.

You should demonstrate strong, effective leadership, especially through change, while embodying our values of kindness and compassion. A commitment to quality, evidence-based care, and a can-do attitude are essential.

You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate learning opportunities for both registered and non-registered staff and preparing staff for future roles within NHS Scotland.

You will play a key role in delivering the hospital's strategic vision and plan, aiming for excellence by improving service delivery for the people of Scotland.
