Cambridge University Press is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives. This role involves collaboration with finance functions, project management, and a focus on achieving successful business change outcomes in a hybrid working environment. The candidate will harness their experience in change management to enhance finance processes and support organizational success.
Job Title: Senior Change Manager (Finance)
Salary: £34,500 – 58,500 pa
Location: Cambridge (hybrid – 40-60% onsite)
Contract: Fixed term contract until December 2026, full time (35 hours a week)
Using your blend of project and change management, business analysis and improvement skills, this is the opportunity to be right in the centre of transforming Finance for Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
Working across the breadth of global finance business functions, and alongside partners in wider Cambridge University Press & Assessment, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of change initiatives through a blend of project, product and change management, business analysis and improvement skills. Your portfolio will adapt throughout the year as priorities evolve, which could include managing business change initiatives to support finance processes and systems delivery or organisational change.

About you
Collaboration
As a project manager and change practitioner with great communication skills, you will partner with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, solve problems, and build connections. You'll help build commitment, unblock challenges, create comms and ensure successful outcomes. You will identify business and systems requirements, change impacts accurately and employ strategies to ensure that change is executed, sustained and embedded.

Organisation
As an organised project manager, you will effectively monitor progress against plans, track benefits, lead on decisions and actions and manage risks and issues. You'll establish strong governance around your projects and engage effectively with existing governance structures in Finance and the wider organisation to champion your projects.
