Job summary

AALTO in Farnborough is seeking a Senior Programme Manager – Certification to lead end-to-end certification for Zephyr. You will ensure timely delivery against schedule, budget and regulatory requirements while working closely with UK CAA and other authorities.

The role requires senior-level judgment on complex certification and programme issues and the ability to translate technical and regulatory considerations into executive communications. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience in aircraft design, certification, airworthiness and managing aerospace programmes (civil or military).
• Proven track record leading senior certification programmes with civil or military aviation authorities.
• Knowledge of certification planning, Means of Compliance, conformity, and authority engagement.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own the Certification Programme Plan, including strategy, compliance approach, milestones and baseline.
• Build an integrated schedule covering design, analysis, test and entry into service.
• Chair governance forums; drive decisions and align stakeholders.
• Lead certification strategies, reviews and authority engagement through development to execution.
• Oversee artifacts, ensure traceability and readiness for authority review.
• Drive readiness to manufacture, operate, maintain and support certified aircraft.
