Job summary

AALTO HAPS Ltd. is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of the Zephyr system. You will drive complex projects, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS.
• Strong communication, leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory liaison.
• Knowledge of ARP4754, ARP4761, DO178, DO254 and MBSE.
• Ability to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to complex HAPS systems engineering projects.
• Manage integration projects from initiation to completion.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
• Verify compliance with PART 21 regulations.
• Develop design specifications, system architecture and risk management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Conduct design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Prepare documentation and reports.
