Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced QHSE and CDM Manager to lead the safety agenda across our Nuclear Security Contract and support large-scale infrastructure delivery.

You will report to the Divisional QHSE Director and provide strategic leadership for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment while acting as the senior competent lead for CDM compliance. Successful candidates will hold IOSH CMIOSH, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, and have extensive experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Chartered membership of IOSH or equivalent (CMIOSH)
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent advanced health & safety qualification
• Strong knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
• Proven senior QHSE leadership across multiple sites or major infra projects
• Experience with internal audits and ISO management standards

Responsibilities

• Lead development of QHSE improvement plans and assurance programmes
• Act as senior competent lead for CDM matters and advise clients and project teams
• Integrate CDM principles across the project lifecycle and prepare Health and Safety File
• Use audits and incident investigations to identify risks and implement preventive actions
• Build relationships with clients, designers, contractors and leadership teams
