Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the delivery of Construction Design and Management (CDM) and wider construction safety services across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role suits an experienced CDM professional who can provide clear, pragmatic advice within design and delivery teams and help clients meet their statutory responsibilities.

You will embed effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle, particularly across RIBA Stages 2–5, and contribute to Principal

Qualifications

• Experience in CDM/ construction safety role.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
• Experience with Principal Designer duties.
• Understanding of design processes and RIBA stages 3–5.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CDM Principal Designer duties per 2015 regs.
• Contribute to design risk management and hazard logs.
• Attend design team meetings and risk workshops.
• Review drawings and design information for health and safety risks.
• Prepare and maintain PCI, Design Risk Registers, HSF.
• Provide practical CDM compliance advice to clients.
• Manage own project tasks to time, cost, quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed safety.
