Your new role

We are looking for an experienced Senior CDM Advisor / Principal Designer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and managing design safety across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design process, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
• Provide expert advice on health and safety risks during the design phase.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project safety.
• Oversee a variety of small and large projects.
• Support the Associate Director and Director, as well as mentor junior colleagues.
• Conduct design reviews and hazard assessments.
• Prepare and maintain pre-construction information and health and safety files.

What you'll need to succeed

• Significant experience as a Principal Designer with a strong understanding of CDM regulations.
• NEBOSH Qualification or other relevant health and safety qualifications.
• Technical qualifications in construction, engineering, or architecture.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with BIM and other design software is a plus.
