The Senior Catering Supervisor will play an active role in ensuring consistently high standards of food and beverage service and customer care, supporting the management team in planning and organising staffing requirements to ensure all services are appropriately resourced.

Jesus College are seeking to appoint a Senior Catering Supervisor to join the front of House team within the Catering and Conference Deportment. This is a key operational role working in a unique and historic environment, the post-holder will help deliver a diverse range of food and beverage services, balancing the traditions and expectations of collegiate hospitality with new ideas and initiatives.

Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, Deputy Food and Beverage Manager, College Butler, catering and conference teams, and kitchen colleagues, the Senior Catering Supervisor will play an active role in ensuring consistently high standards of food and beverage service and customer care.

This is a varied, hands-on role requiring someone who is confident moving between different service environments. One day may involve leading a student café service, while another may involve delivering a high-profile à la carte dinner, formal feast or wedding, or coordinating a conference lunch for several hundred guests.

The successful candidate will be an adaptable and confident hospitality professional who leads by example, takes pride in delivering excellent service and is comfortable responding positively to changing priorities and operational demands.
