Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland, part of Compass Group, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day catering operations at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow. You will drive performance across conferences, exhibitions and VIP events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial control.

As a senior leader, you will manage multi-disciplinary teams, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for growth while upholding Levy brand standards and service

Qualifications

• Take senior operational ownership for day-to-day delivery of conferences, exhibitions, banqueting and other event styles.
• Manage and coordinate kitchen, back-of-house and front-of-house to maintain high food quality and service.
• Lead a guest-focused culture with strong hospitality standards and client awareness.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships with event organisers and venue stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales and events teams to plan and execute successful events.
• Lead, inspire and develop the permanent management and catering teams.
• Monitor financial performance including forecasts, budgets and P&L within delegated areas.
• Identify revenue opportunities through upselling and improved margins.
• Ensure menus reflect dietary requirements and Levy brand expectations.
