Job summary

St Catherine's Hospice in West Sussex is seeking a compassionate Senior Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. This role supports our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers by delivering meals, snacks and beverages to a high standard in a healthcare setting.

Working 15 hours per week on a permanent, part-time basis, with a rota that includes mornings and some weekends, you will help maintain excellent customer service and food safety while contributing to a supportive, inclusive

• Experience in catering, hospitality, healthcare or food environment.
• Confident communication with colleagues, patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Support the catering team to maintain high standards for patients, visitors, staff and volunteers.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals, snacks and beverages to a high standard.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. St Catherines Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.
The salary for this role is between £9,914.28 to £10,060.43 per annum for 15 hours per week, This post is offered on a permanent, part time basis working 15 hours per week. Shifts are worked on a rota basis between 7.30am to 3.30pm and 11am to 7pm, rotating alternative weekends. This role offers a great opportunity to achieve a healthy work-life balance, with every other weekend off., We are located in Grace Holland Avenue, Pease Pottage, Crawley, West Sussex RH11 9SL.
