We are looking for a Senior Category Manager Procurement to join us.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the Bristol office as needed, with flexibility to work from home.

Key Purpose

• Develop and deliver cross-functional category strategies to improve the LeasePlan commercial proposition and deliver maximum value and best practice supply in line with corporate objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory standards and corporate policies.
• Test wider markets to identify and deliver innovations to increase Ayvens USP and operational efficiency.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and complex category, including market research, sourcing, contracting, and implementation to ensure best-practice Category Management.
• Negotiate market-leading commercial terms and contracts.
• Collaborate with Ayvens Corporate and other territories to increase supplier leverage and develop best practices.
• Ensure effective use of the Procurement Policy and educate internal customers on compliance.
• Work with the legal team to secure contractual protections and manage risks.
• Represent Ayvens at all levels within the supplier base and industry.
• Perform additional procurement duties as directed by the General Manager.

Skills, Experience & Background

• Extensive procurement experience (7+ years preferred), ideally in leasing, financial services, or technical/engineering industries.
• Experience with industry-leading e-Procurement tools.
• Ability to manage relationships up to C-suite level.
• Proven track record in cost analysis and achieving cost reductions.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Results-driven with high achievement orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Customer-focused with strategic vision beyond just price considerations.
• High integrity and commitment to corporate values.
• Experience in change management and delivering benefits.
