are pleased to support a global utilities organisation in their search for a highly capable Senior Category Buyer with a background in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the UK's most critical, high-value projects, ranging from multi-million to over £1 billion in value.

This permanent position offers a salary of £52,000 to £57,000 plus bonus and operates on a fully remote basis, with occasional ad-hoc in-office or site visits. Candidates must be based in and eligible to work within the UK to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop category strategies, provide commercial recommendations, and execute sourcing strategies.
2. Deliver multiple strategic sourcing events within your portfolio.
3. Support the development and delivery of the assigned category strategy.
4. Identify continuous improvement opportunities through engagement with suppliers and stakeholders to maximize value for money from contracts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Significant experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
2. Procurement experience related to engineering, civil works, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
3. Experience delivering procurement services throughout the full procurement lifecycle.
4. Understanding of project management principles, with prior experience managing high-value procurements in complex project environments.
