Job Title: CAS Modeller

Join a Coventry-based OEM as a CAS Modeller within a vehicle concepts group. Be part of a team responsible for developing new vehicle concepts and defining the next generation of electric vehicles. Your role will involve creating and releasing surfaces that accurately capture design intent.

Responsibilities:

• Create and release surfaces that reflect design intent, ensuring high-quality, aesthetically optimized surfaces that meet standards
• Interpret 2D sketches into 3D data for design iteration and approval
• Integrate engineering, manufacturing, and technical attributes during surface creation
• Sketch 3D surfaces to support aesthetic development
• Develop initial theme proposals for aesthetic and feasibility studies
• Create surface models for engineering verification
• Prepare surface releases for design approval and production surfacing

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree qualified or equivalent with proven experience in digital surface creation using Alias
• Experience as a CAS Modeller
• Ability to work with engineering inputs and interpret design sketches into surface proposals
