Job summary

Fordingbridge Nursing Home, part of Allegra Care, is seeking a dedicated Senior Carer to join our caring team and lead by example. You will supervise care staff, support residents with daily needs, and collaborate with nursing and management to maintain high standards of person-centred care.

The role requires previous Senior Carer experience, NVQ Health & Social Care, medication administration knowledge, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous Senior Carer experience in a residential or nursing home.
• NVQ Health & Social Care (Level 2 or above, Level 3 desirable).
• Medication administration experience and understanding of procedures.

Senior Carer (Care Partner)

Fordingbridge Nursing Home Part of Allegra Care

£14.60 per hour 36 hours per week. Permenant nights. Alternate weekends. We are unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this role.

About The Role

As a Senior Carer, you will play a key role in supporting residents with their daily needs while supervising and guiding care staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. You will work closely with the nursing and management teams to promote residents' wellbeing, dignity and independence.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working at Senior Carer level within a residential or nursing home environment
• Relevant NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care (Level 2 or above, Level 3 desirable)
• Medication administration experience and a good understanding of medication procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A caring, professional and reliable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting older people
