Job summary

Crooton is seeking a Senior Carer at our Wilton, Wiltshire care home. You will lead the care team, supervise and mentor staff, and support medication administration and stock management to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will update care plans, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with GPs, district nurses and families to maintain comprehensive, person-centered care. A warm, compassionate approach is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (highly desirable).
• Candidates with NVQ Level 2 may be considered depending on experience.
• Experience as Senior Carer in a Care Home setting preferred.

Job description

Hours: 36 hours per week - Days -8am to 8pm OR 24 hours per week - Nights - 8pm to 8am

Salary: £16.30 per hour - Days OR £16.84 per hour - Nights

Location: Wilton, Wiltshire, SP2 0FX

Your Role

• Leading the care team: delegating duties, supervising and mentoring

• Creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of our residents
  
• Experience working as a Senior Carer in a Care Home setting (Ideally residential)
  
• NVQ Level 3 / Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (highly desirable) - Candidates with NVQ Level 2 may be considered depending on experience
  
• Medication Trained, experience with care plans and risk assessments
  
• Compassionate, warm-hearted, and committed to individualised care
