Job summary

Crooton Ltd. is seeking a Senior Carer for our residential care setting in Wilton, Wiltshire. The role involves leading a care team, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality resident care.

You will support medication administration, maintain care plans, and liaise with GPs and families to coordinate personalised care while upholding dignity and preferences of residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Carer in a Care Home setting (ideally residential).
• Medication trained; experience with care plans and risk assessments.
• Compassionate, warm-hearted, and committed to individualised care.

Senior Carer- Residential Care Home

Hours: 36 hours per week - Days -8am to 8pm OR 24 hours per week - Nights - 8pm to 8am

Salary: £16.30 per hour - Days OR £16.84 per hour - Nights

Location: Wilton, Wiltshire, SP2 0FX

Your Role

• Leading the care team: delegating duties, supervising and mentoring
• Supporting medication administration and stock management
• Updating care plans and risk assessments
• Liaising with GPs, district nurses, and families
• Creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of our residents

Essential Criteria

• Experience working as a Senior Carer in a Care Home setting (Ideally residential)
• NVQ Level 3 / Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (highly desirable) - Candidates with NVQ Level 2 may be considered depending on experience
• Medication Trained, experience with care plans and risk assessments
• Compassionate, warm-hearted, and committed to individualised care
