As a Senior Care Assistant at our client's care home, you’ll look after the different needs of our residents to enable the delivery of quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join as a Senior Care Assistant. Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential. We’re looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals committed to providing each resident with individualised care and support. There are opportunities for career development through ongoing training, with potential progression into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
