Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Stamford is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Priory Court Care Home to lead activities that enhance residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.

You will plan monthly wellbeing and activity schedules, involve staff and families, and ensure a respectful, dignified environment that promotes independence and fulfilment for older residents.

A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting
• Experience organising activities and events
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• A positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events

Responsibilities

• Identifying life history, needs and preferences to develop detailed life stories.
• Planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans and weekly overviews.
• Arranging activities, events and outings with staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintaining a safe living and working environment and contributing to a positive image of the home
