Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Abbey Court Care Home in Heath Hayes, Cannock. You will design and run a broad programme of activities to support residents' physical, psychological and social wellbeing, aligned with our values of privacy, dignity, independence and fulfilment.

The role requires experience with older people in residential settings, especially dementia, and strong communication skills to work with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
• Experience organising activities and events.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to stimulating activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and submit monthly activity and wellbeing plans; provide weekly overview.
• Arrange activities, events and outings; involve staff, relatives, and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and uphold professional image of the home.
