Job summary

Richmond Village, Willaston, part of the Bupa group, seeks a Senior Care Assistant to lead a unit and oversee clinical duties including medication administration and care-plan reviews. You’ll manage a team of care staff, oversee shift handovers and support new staff with training.

The role requires DBS clearance and NVQ3 in care, with a thorough induction and ongoing development, including access to our online learning portal.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in care completed or currently working towards.
• DBS check will be carried out as part of recruitment.
• Induction and ongoing training provided.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit.
• Issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping.
• Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants and handovers.
• Training and supervising new staff to provide support.
• Building relationships with residents, families and external teams.
• Assisting residents with personal care duties.
