Job summary

Richmond Villages in Nantwich is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a permanent part-time role. Job Title

Senior Care Assistant

Location

Richmond Village Nantwich – St Joseph’s Way, London Road, CW5 6LZ

Contract & Working Hours

Permanent part‑time. Days: 0645‑1445 / 1300‑2100. Weekends on rota.

Salary & Benefits

£14.70 per hour plus excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit.
• Clinical duties: prescribing medication, reviewing care plans, accurate record keeping.
• Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers.
• Training and supervising new staff members.
• Building relationships with residents, families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
• Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties.
• Supporting CQC responsibilities.

Qualifications & Training

Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care. Bupa will support completion if needed.

Thorough induction, ongoing training, development and access to apprenticeships and an online learning portal.

Other Requirements

DBS check required (cost covered by Bupa).
