Bupa's Richmond Village Willaston in Crewe Road, CW5 6GX is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care, supporting independence and choice for residents in a luxury retirement setting.

The role includes a thorough induction, ongoing training and development, DBS check funded by Bupa, and shift patterns from 08:00 to 20:00 with weekends on rota. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care.
• Ability to recognise and meet resident needs.
• Ability to respond to emergency bells/calls and summon senior staff when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care.
• Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents.
• Answer emergency bells or calls from residents and summon senior care staff as needed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including meals, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as per care plan.
• Help residents with mobility using appropriate equipment and care of aids.
• Provide companionship and personal care to residents.
• Collaborate with the senior care assistant to monitor residents and report changes.
• Communicate with residents’ families and other healthcare professionals.
