Job summary

The Field Lane Foundation in Surrey is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based services in Frimley and Guildford. You will support adults with learning disabilities to live independently in their homes or with family, building trusting relationships and ensuring safety and comfort.

You will work with a supportive team to deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, and maintain accurate records while upholding safeguarding and health and safety

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to complete.
• 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care alongside a dedicated team.
• Deliver personal care in line with care plans.
• Assist with daily living tasks including meals, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Promote inclusion, dignity and independence for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety and organisational policies.
• Participate in training, team meetings and ongoing development.
