Job summary

Field Lane is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based services in Frimley and Guildford, Surrey. You will work with adults with learning disabilities to help them live independently with person-centred care and strong relationships.

You will deliver personal care, support daily living tasks, promote dignity and inclusion, maintain records and participate in training. A caring, empathetic attitude and a valid driving licence are preferred; enhanced DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
• 2+ years' experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Caring, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm, cheerful and professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care alongside a dedicated team.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Support with daily living tasks (meals, laundry, housekeeping).
• Promote inclusion, dignity and independence for every client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety and organisational policies.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
