Job summary

Hill Care in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant (Days) to join our care home team. You will supervise junior staff, implement care plans, and ensure high-quality daily living support for residents.

We value compassionate communication, recording progress, and compliance with health and safety standards. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and at least 1 year in a senior care role are required.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is essential (1 year).
• Proven track record delivering high-quality care (2+ years).
• Familiarity with IT systems for records and communication is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with healthcare professionals and families.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance and leadership.
• Maintain accurate resident progress records and changes in condition.
• Ensure health and safety compliance within the care home.
• Participate in training to stay updated on best practices in residential and nursing care.
• Administer medication to residents.
