Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Senior Care Assistant for a UK care home. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours and the chance to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

You will supervise a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager and support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments and care plans while protecting residents’ dignity and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to providing each resident with individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Uphold residents' dignity and create a warm, welcoming environment.
