Job summary

Care Outlook is seeking a Registered Manager to lead Beechwood Grove and Cornerstones in Reading. You will oversee daily operations, maintain CQC registration, and ensure residents receive safe, person‑centred care tailored to their preferences.

The role requires three years of management experience in domiciliary or extra care, strong knowledge of CQC regulations, and a valid UK driving license. The successful candidate will work with the Regional Manager to expand the service and meet targets.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management, or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scheme team, including care coordinators, senior carers and office staff
• Run the service day to day, covering rotas, care planning, staffing and budget
• Ensure each resident has a person-centred care plan aligned to their choices and is reviewed regularly
• Monitor quality through spot checks, medication audits and observations, actioning findings
• Recruit, supervise, train and develop your team
• Report safeguarding concerns promptly and ensure investigations are carried out
• Submit statutory notifications to CQC on time and keep the scheme inspection ready
• Maintain staff files, training records and compliance records
• Collaborate with commissioners, social workers, health professionals and families
• Work with Regional Manager to grow the service and meet targets

Education
