Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is seeking a compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our care team in Norwich. You will lead the care team, supervise staff, support care planning, and mentor colleagues to maintain high standards of person-centred care.

You will promote dignity and independence, build strong relationships with residents and families, and contribute to ongoing training and development to ensure exceptional care delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior care or support role.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care, ensuring dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
• Recognise and respond to the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct staff supervisions and contribute to performance appraisals.
• Assist in developing and reviewing care plans.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to care staff.
• Work collaboratively with the wider care team to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues.
