Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking a Care Leader for Millbrook Lodge in Brockworth. You will lead a small team of carers, ensuring residents receive person-centred care, while coordinating with the Home Manager and maintaining high standards of wellbeing and dignity.

You’ll bring NVQ Level 3 (or Level 2 with plans to study to Level 3) and strong communication skills, with a positive, motivational approach to staff and residents in a residential care setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or NVQ Level 2 with willingness to study for NVQ Level 3.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in residential care and supervising a small team (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement care to residents with dignity, security and independence.
• Lead a team of carers and support Home Manager.
• Review and monitor care plans through ongoing assessment and evaluation.
