Job summary
Millbrook Lodge is seeking a Care Leader to oversee a dedicated team in a residential care setting. You will plan and implement care, support the Home Manager, and ensure each resident receives dignified, independent care.
Strong supervision and communication will help motivate staff and maintain high standards. Experience in residential care and NVQ qualifications are important, with opportunities for clinical training and career development offered within a supportive, not-for-profit
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma or NVQ Level 2 with willingness to study for Level 3
- Experience in residential care settings preferred
- Supervisory or delegation experience is advantageous but not essential
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of carers to deliver high-quality care
- Plan and implement care that provides security, dignity and independence
- Review care plans regularly through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Balance team support with residents’ wellbeing and timely tasks
