Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust in Melksham is seeking an experienced Care Leader for our new 80-bed Melksham Gardens home. You will lead a team, support the Home Manager, and help establish care standards and a compassionate culture from the start.

You’ll ensure individual care plans are reviewed, residents’ wellbeing is prioritised, and staff are motivated to deliver exceptional person-centred care in a brand-new environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or NVQ2 with study towards Level 3.
• Supervisory experience in a care setting is advantageous.
• Positive role model with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a small team to deliver outstanding care.
• Support Home Manager and establish effective routines and culture.
• Ensure care plans are reviewed and residents’ needs are met with dignity.
• Provide guidance, develop staff skills and maintain high standards.
