Job summary

HC-One is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver personalised care across our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist homes. You will support residents, collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, and help with medication and activities to promote dignity and independence.

You will maintain accurate records, build strong team relationships, and participate in care planning with a focus on kindness and person-centred support for every resident.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
• Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with medication and activities.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social activities.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team.
• Deliver personalised care plans and support residents and families.
