Job summary
HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a care team in delivering dignity-filled, person-centred care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist settings. You will support residents, coordinate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, and ensure accurate records and compassionate interactions.
The role emphasizes dementia care, record-keeping, time management, and ongoing development towards Level 3 qualifications, with a strong focus on kindness and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent required; Level 3 qualification pursued.
- Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge desired.
- Strong positive energy and ability to work with residents and families.
- Excellent record keeping and time management expected.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high standards of care.
- Assist Registered Nurse and Care Manager in care delivery and documentation.
- Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities and social care.
- Assist with medication administration and daily living tasks.
