Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead care delivery in dementia, nursing, residential and specialist settings. You will plan personalised care, support residents and families, and work with the Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care.

You will also coordinate activities, keep accurate records, and contribute to a supportive, compassionate team culture focused on dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
• Experience in dementia, nursing or residential care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement care to provide security, dignity and independence.
• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Administer medication and support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager.
• Provide essential social and recreational activities for residents.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships.
