Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Residential Senior Carer in the UK to lead a care team and deliver person-centred care. You’ll train staff, supervise on shifts and delegate duties while supporting the administering and ordering of medication and reviewing resident care plans and risk assessments.

You will liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and resident families to ensure wellbeing, dignity and a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Experience leading care teams in a residential setting.
• Ability to make decisions in resident wellbeing scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff with training, supervision and shifting duties.
• Assist with administering and ordering medication and review resident care plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and families.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming and person-centred environment for residents.
