We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our small, friendly 12-bed care home located in Whitby within an Anglican Religious Community. You will supervise junior staff, develop personalised care plans, and ensure residents receive high-quality support.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience in elderly care.

Formación

• Previous senior care or similar role essential.
• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification required.
• Strong communication skills and leadership ability.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Develop and implement individual care plans.
• Supervise junior care staff and mentor the team.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' health and progress.
• Communicate with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in the home.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities.
