OOJ Homecare Services in Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our care team. You will deliver person-centred care helping service users maintain dignity, independence and quality of life.

You will guide and support other care team members, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and ensure individual care needs are met. Join us to contribute to compassionate, professional care in a supportive environment.

Formación

• Previous experience in a care or health and social care setting.
• Senior care experience is desirable.
• A compassionate, respectful, person-centred approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, support and motivate care team.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to service users.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
• Follow and implement individual care and support plans.
• Monitor service users' wellbeing and report any changes promptly.
• Support medication procedures in accordance with care plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
• Promote dignity, independence, privacy, and choice.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users and their families.
• Provide guidance and support to Care Assistants and other members of the care team.
• Assist with the induction and mentoring of new care staff where required.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare professionals, families, and other members of the support team.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment.
• Follow OOJ Homecare's policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and quality standards.
