Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for one of our Chester-based care homes. You will look after residents' needs and supervise a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, promoting quality, person-centred care.

You will support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews, while respecting residents' dignity and preferences in a warm, welcoming, vibrant environment. Ongoing training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Clinical care knowledge for the elderly a must.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to individualised resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents' dignity and personalised care in a warm, welcoming environment.
