Job summary

Quantum Care in Watford is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Courtland Lodge Care Home. This 60-bed facility requires leadership on a designated unit, with duties including care-plan reviews, personal care, and medication administration, plus facilitating resident activities.

Qualifications

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• Substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
