Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd in the Newton-Le-Willows area is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our caring team. You will support residents with personal care, administer medications, and help maintain a warm, dignified living environment.

We offer permanent full and part-time day or night contracts, pension scheme access, CPD funding, and wellbeing support with career progression opportunities. Applicants will need two references and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience administering medication.
• Proven experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care
• Administrating medication
• Maintaining accurate records
• Leading a team of care assistants, and assist nurse in charge
• Apply dressings as and when needed
• Take any samples as and when necessary
• Communicate with external sources such as Doctors and District Nurses
