Job summary

HC-One in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to lead a team of Care Assistants and deliver personalised care across dementia, nursing and residential settings. You will work closely with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to ensure safety, dignity and independence for residents.

You will engage residents in meaningful activities, maintain high care standards, keep accurate records and support families while pursuing Level 3 qualifications and continuing professional

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent)
• Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent
• Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge
• Brilliant positive energy and kindness, with ability to build relationships
• Good record-keeping and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in delivering care
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities for residents
• Administer medication as required and maintain accurate records
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues
