Job summary

Join Barchester Healthcare Limited as a Bank Residential Senior Carer in our care home. You’ll lead a team of care staff, provide training and supervision, and delegate duties on shift to ensure high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

You’ll assist with administering and ordering medications, review and update resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaise with GPs, district nurses and families to support wellbeing and dignity for every resident.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience in a residential care setting with leadership skills.
• Ability to make decisions to support residents’ needs and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift.
• Assist with administering and ordering of medication.
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and residents’ family members.
