Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Residential Senior Carer to support a care home with quality, person-centred care. You will lead a team of carers, provide training and supervision, and assist with medication administration and care plan updates.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in a residential care setting with proven team leadership skills.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate, and able to provide personalised care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff on shift, including training and supervision.
• Assist with administering and ordering medication and updating resident care plans.
• Review risk assessments and liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and residents’ families.
• Support residents with dignity and individual needs in a warm, welcoming environment.
